South Shields Tourist Information Centre is situated in South Shields on the eastern side of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and near to Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. There are a wealth of visitor attractions in Newcastle ranging from the indoor Metro Centre shopping complex to the Baltic Flour Mill Art Centre and new Millennium Eye (bridge) along with the old favourite and symbol of Newcastle - the Tyne Bridge.
